Four top executives at Better.com have reportedly resigned after the company laid off 900 staff in a three-minute Zoom call last year.
The call went viral and has sparked a row over the way the New York-based online mortgage company went about reducing its staff.
Now, Techcrunch reports four senior staff have apparently resigned.

The call took place in December, and a former employee alleges those fired were “low performers.”
It is said the move sparked tensions between senior staff and its CEO Vishal Garg.
Garg later apologized to all employees, saying: “I own the decision to do the layoffs, but in communicating it I blundered the execution. In doing so, I embarrassed you.”
Days after the mass layoff, Garg announced that he was “taking time off effective immediately.”
The four executives and Better.com did not respond to Insider’s request for comment made after normal business hours.
Further layoffs are anticipated in March, which could affect 40 to 50 percent of the company’s workforce.
Better.com has been more aggressive in laying off its US employees than its Indian employees, which could be attributed to the low cost of labor.
