THG, owner of LookFantastic and MyProtein, will eliminate 171 jobs as part of a broader cost-saving measure.
This follows a previous reduction of nearly a third of its workforce over the past two years.
According to The Financial Times, the company has put 581 positions at risk across six divisions, including beauty and nutrition.
This announcement comes as THG mandates a return to the Manchester head office five days a week starting August 19.
Previously, THG’s policy required employees to be in the office four days a week with one optional work-from-home day, subject to approval.

The company cited “inconsistent adherence” to this policy as a reason for the change.
An internal memo reveals that existing flexible working agreements will remain but may be reviewed soon.
The company is addressing the need for more consistent office attendance as part of its restructuring efforts.
