Bank Of Ireland To Hire 100 Tech Roles

Emblem of Bank of Ireland

Bank of Ireland announced it seeks to hire 100 technology positions to bolster its digital projects across the organization.

These roles span various domains, including data management, delivery management, engineering, resilience, cyber security, cloud computing, open banking, APIs, artificial intelligence, and emerging technologies.

The bank reported an 18 percent increase in active digital users last year, thanks to over 60 enhancements to its mobile app.

It now includes biometrics and improved fraud monitoring.

Digitizing its Wealth and Insurance sectors will also lead to the launching of a customer portal and high adoption rates for its digital advice platform.

Earlier this year, the Bank of Ireland made its largest single investment in ATMs in the past decade, deploying a new fleet across all branches on the island.
